I voted

(No, I didn't write in "The Doctor" or "Chewbacca".)

I was the 325th person in the A-L line at 9:15am. Stood in line for only a few minutes. Hubbyfink said our polling place was PACKED when he arrived just after 6am. Being a late riser has some perks. Thank goodness tonight is choir practice and I can escape the wall-to-wall election coverage.

Yeah, J said it only took him 30 minutes when he got there at 8...

Wow - you must not have a busy center, at 7:20, i was #541...

That was just the A-L line. I have no idea what number they were on for M-Z.

Unfortunately, the Doctor and Chewbacca are disqualified from running for President because they weren't born here. Otherwise, I think either one would be a pretty good choice. "Chewbacca '08 - Let the Wookiee Win." Which is on your icon, which I would have seen if I had been like, you know, paying attention. *headdesk*

Ah... For A-C, I was #135... :) There were 6 different alphabetical lines for us..

*grin*

You know, I hadn't realized the icon-maker misspelled Wookiee until just now.

I voted. I even got to use a paper ballot (well, Scantron form), so there is a tangible paper trail. This is unusual in the PRFC -- but the turnout is expected to be way too high for the usual touch-screen machines to be able to handle. There just aren't enough of the machines.
