I spent a long while looking at your yellow giornea diary yesterday and that really inspired me. How did you decide how big to make your panels for the skirt? I understand taking the bodice waist measurement and multiplying/dividing based on the pleating and number of skirt panels. But before you cut the rectangular panel into two skirt pieces... how did you decide how long that panel would be? I can see the length of that panel determining how full each skirt piece is.

And yes, I promise to take pictures. :) No guarantee that there will be step-by-step photos, though. I'm terrible at photojournalling projects.
