Hubbyfink and I attended neighbor-Sam's Super Bowl party and had a blast. Her friends remembered me from the Girls' Night Out a couple of weeks ago and they all thought Hubbyfink a great guy. Hubbyfink got a taste of how small the world is since a lot of folks have worked on the project he's been working and/or are with the project he wants to go, too. Also, the husband of non-Lockheed person works at GD on a project Hubbyfink used to be associated with. Ah, memories. That friend-of-neighbor-Sam thinks she and her husband should have a double date with Hubbyfink and me because we already get along so well and we think the husbands would too.
Also? Nobody in attendance thought our reenactment hobby is weird. That was a stumbling block when I tried getting active with my sorority's alumnae group; I simply didn't fit in. It's a nice change of pace. I really am enjoying this being-friends-with-a-neighbor thing.
