Mah kitteh is stinky
Mar. 12th, 2009 01:04 pmI love my Margiekitten, you all know I do, but man o man is she stinky today. I have this fear that she's going to turn into one of those smelly old cats and I will be forced to stuff earplugs in my nostrils so I can continue cuddling her.
Oh, so stinky.
Yesterday was another bad day at work. I'm getting worse at handling IMPENDING CRISIS AND DOOM and we've got a bit of that happening on our regional transit network. A bit of retail therapy, a strawberry Fruitista and a few hours of pounding on the drums helped my mood and made leading the 8pm conference call a bearable task. I'm working from home today (hence the noticing of Margie's stinkiness) and am quite content in my little comfort bubble.
After a ninety minute conference call (ow, my ear, but wow was that call productive!), my boss called to touch base and ask how I feel about budgeting. "Sorry... there's static on the line. Your last bit was garbled." Eh, it's not so bad. I'm kind of excited to learn something new which would make me a touch more marketable. Not that I'm going anywhere anytime soon. Despite the occassional Very Bad No Good day, I know I've got it good and am happy to stay with my mostly cushy job.
