Can't sleep; camping gear'll eat me
Jul. 24th, 2009 09:13 amI'm too excited. Our gear for this weekend is staged in the dining room, except for the actual pavilion and poles which are staged in the basement. Road trip snacks have been procurred, the cell phone is charging, and all that's left is for us to pack our weekend bags and load everything into the car.
We're doing Land Grab in the Prius again. I don't know why, but that still cracks me up. We can technically carry more stuff if we take the Jeep, but only because we can put things on the roof. The pavilion poles comfortably fit inside the Prius (and we ride fairly comfortably on either side of the poles), so why not take the more fuel-efficient vehicle? Happily, Hubbyfink shares my belief that it's okay not to see out the rear window.
