Laissez le bon temps rouler!
Feb. 16th, 2010 10:27 amHappy Mardi Gras, y'all! My cube is festooned with beads of all shapes and sizes plus some necklaces from Pegasus, Bacchus, Endymion, and Muses. It's downright festive in here. I might start throwing beads at unsuspecting coworkers.

Last night Hubbyfink and I celebrated the Lunar New Year/Valentine's Day/Presidents/Lupercalia/New Moon/Lundi Gras by dining at The Cheesecake Factory and scoring discounted truffles at Godiva. I figured that most people would have swarmed The Cheesecake Factory on Sunday and not many people would be out and about in the drizzly snowy weather. I was right! We were seated immediately. I enjoyed my Chicken Bellagio; Hubbyfink was less enthused with his Steak Diane. I chose the Chocolate Coconut Cream Cheesecake for dessert and oh my goodness, was it yummy! I could eat only half of my dinner and half of the cheesecake, so I get to have that meal all over again tonight if I wish.
I was disappointed with the Dulles Town Center Godiva post-Valentine's offerings. I think they may be onto my cunning plan. There was one small table with sale items and they were only 30% off. I still snagged a big box.
