I Called Jenny - First day
Aug. 20th, 2010 11:56 amI signed up with Jenny Craig last night and started the program this morning. So far, so good, I guess. I ate half of my breakfast and then called Courtney because I couldn't choke down the cottage cheese.
"Why are eating cottage cheese??"
Because it's on the 1st week's plan.
"I never ate cottage cheese! Throw that out and get some yogurt instead."
Okay.
I need to read through the manual so I won't feel quite so lost and puzzled. I've done so many other weight loss plans that I think I have an idea of what equals a serving, but I'm not entirely sure. Court's offered to go grocery shopping and share her favorite tips and tricks.
My goal for this week is to stay completely on plan. Aside from the cottage cheese. Yech.
My weight loss goal is 66 pounds which will put me at 200. I will reevaluate about how much lower than 200 I want to go as I approach that goal. I mean, I really want to be 160, but I don't know if that's maintainable.
My long term, physical goal is to be able to run around Pennsic without huffing and puffing. I want to armor up and fight.
My long term, mental goal is to feel comfortable in my skin and be proud of me. I don't want to feel like hiding at home because I'm so fat.
I also want to be able to buy and wear clothes from an outfitters store. Here I come, EMS and Outdoors!
