My dog died. In game, I mean. I don't have a dog in real life; Margiekitten wouldn't put up with it! But anyway, my dog died and I'm pretty bummed out by that. I'm halfway tempted to load from a previously saved point and leave him in a safer location and then replay the spot where he died. It's not like he was a tremendous help, but I think I'd be happier knowing he was frolicking in the game world rather than lying dead on a Georgetown street.
Maybe Hubbyfink is right and I should just play shooters where I don't get emotionally invested in the characters. Maybe I should give FO3 a rest and move on to a more light-hearted game like "Left 4 Dead". (Maybe I should've gotten the PC version of the game which would allow me to mod the dog so he was immortal. I could also do the AWESOME light saber mod I saw on X-Play last night!)
