The Virginia Doomsday is almost complete. School is, so far, going well. I finally got over that migraine (thank you, Tylenol PM). I found arm warmers tucked in my purse so my hands are no longer FREEZING. I've performed a miracle for Bossman. It's been a good day.

On the flip side, I am trying not to freak out about Gulf Wars being only two and a half weeks away. I shouldn't worry: I have enough clothes and accessories and whatnot. Our gear is in good shape and inventoried. In fact, the only "gear" I need at this point are C batteries for the LED candles. I guess it's the fact that I'm used to having July as my run-up for Pennsic prep. I feel like I should be doing something, but there isn't really anything to do. Mom's excited about our short visit en route to Lumberton and I'm excited about getting to see [livejournal.com profile] wombatgirl and [livejournal.com profile] rhino_boy sooooon.

In video game news, I purchased "Bioshock 2" but have yet to unwrap it. The winter semester ends March 27, though, and you can bet your sweet bippy that I'll be playing the hell out of that game before the spring semester starts on April 5. In the meantime, Hubbyfink is wearing out the Xbox with "Mass Effect 2". I think he's liking the sequel more than the original. I don't like that he's given Shepherd blond hair. The character looks less like Mass Effect's Commander Shepherd and more like Mike Holmes. I wonder if Hubbyfink did that on purpose...

That's all the news that's fit to print from the Mouse & Boar House. I hope you and yours are well.

Zoe's been making Mike play Bioshock. She watches, as if she's watching a movie. And then she tells me all about what Gordon Freeman's up to. :)

Or something. *grin* I am a bit pleased she can watch without feeling sick. Hopefully that means she won't be as sensitive to motion as I am!

I've got the sewing to do, but we won't be able to start packing until next week as this week is Hubband's peak week at work. And next week I'm in Tennesse. I have a feeling the week of the 8th is likely to be a little hectic around this corner of the world...

Yah. The week of the 8th will be a mite stressful.
