Happy birthday to me =)
It usually rains on my birthday but that's never dampened (ha ha) my spirit. I'm pretty sure I was born on a dark and stormy night. Okay, well, dark anyway since I made my debut at 12:08 am.
As noted elsenet, I went tried on all my slacks and jeans and discovered that the slacks I purchased the last time I lost weight now fit. Hooray! Plus, I found two $5 bills stashed in the pocket of a pair of jeans I haven't worn in several years. Not a bad way to start the day, me thinks.
The front yard looked so desolate this morning without the ghosts and tombstones. I took them in last night so they wouldn't blow away during the overnight storms. I'll put them back out tonight. Oh! Apparently our yard is the talk of the neighborhood. Hubbyfink attended the HOA annual meeting last night and several people, including board members, commented on how much they liked the decorations. That's a clear tick mark in the win column for us. Hee!
No big plans for tonight as I have a conference call and I don't want to put a wobble on my weigh-in tomorrow morning. Tomorrow night, however, there will be a little bit of queso and maybe even a margarita. Ai ai ai!
