Another early-for-me morning
Sep. 16th, 2009 09:00 amThe guys I'm working with in New Delhi and Mumbai are 9.5 hours ahead of me. This means that instead of late night calls, I have morning calls. An interesting switch, that. The only problem is when I need to corral both the Indians and the Americans-who-work-Asia-Pac hours: that way leads to midnight or later calls. Thankfully, I haven't had a midnight call followed by a morning call just yet. And no, I'm not going to start working nights to make things easier. Since upper management works normal US business hours, they want the underlings to do the same. Plus, my two year stint working nights at the FedEx sort facility back in the day proved to me that working nights makes me very, very sick.
I had something else to write about music, but a coworker has needed me to hold his hand for the past twenty minutes. Maybe I can recollect my thoughts later.
