School is a go
Sep. 17th, 2009 11:32 amSo, I'm starting the Residential Planning Diploma program through the Art Institute Online on October 5 and will get my diploma next June. The diploma program doesn't grant me the necessary pre-requisites for any kind of professional certification, but it will allow me to get my feet wet in this particular field and see if it's something I really want to pursue. My financial aid has been approved and I've accepted the packet. Hubbyfink's comparing his employee discount for a new laptop versus what I can get through the campus store. It's all very exciting.
And yes, this means that I'll be doing school work during our beach vacation and Gulf Wars. If I'm happy with school and the interior design field, I'll transfer to the brick-n-mortar campus just up the road from my house next year and work on getting my Bachelor's degree.
