We need a rake

All those gorgeous orange leaves on the neighbor's cherry tree? Thanks to the breeze they're covering our postage stamp front yard and walk. Methinks a trip to Lowe's is on order this evening.

Is it weird that I can hear the dying leaves bit from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" "Meaning of Life" in my head while watching the leaves drift down? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....

I spent $14 on the HUUGGEE plastic curved rake at Ace last weekend.

Last night at 11:30 I raked 2 55 gallon bags of leaves up in about 20 minutes.

I loves me my new rake. (And yes, I was raking outside in the dark when most people are sleeping). I'm wierd that way. The dog kept me company. Besides, today is yard waste day.

Is it Meaning of Life?

Damn!

Yup.

It is the segue to Death (John Cleese as the Grim Reaper fades in after the entire leaf population commits suicide)
