alienor gave me five words which come to mind when she thinks of me. Here's what I think of those five words:

Crafts: Fabulous time waster and potentially destructive way of dealing with a bad day. I like to putter and tinker and make things look pretty and/or fun. If the project doesn't require too much artistry, I can probably do a decent job with it.

Video Games: Fabulous time waster and a non-destructive way of dealing with a bad day. I especially like survival horror games even though I may not enjoy every minute that I'm playing that type of game. When playing with others, I am HIGHLY competitive. Scott and I get along much better when we play cooperatively rather than against each other.

Exchequer: I love money, organization, and excel. Put the three together and you've got a halfway decent exchequer. When I first started playing in the SCA, I couldn't imagine a more difficult or loathsome office but after I was suckered into deputy exchequerhood which developed into full exchequerhood, I was hooked.

BPAL: Smell is my most keen sense, for good or ill, and I love perfume. However, I realize that not everyone about me loves perfume. My skin gobbles up BPAL pretty quickly, so I can slather on what seems like a lot of perfume and yet go into public without offending anybody. Plus, Beth the perfume maker is an absolute genius. Her blends can trigger so many wonderful (and less than stellar) scent memories. I'm also a collector so the "gotta catch 'em all" aspect of the Limited Edition blends appeals (sometimes unfortunately) to that side of me as well.

Cats: My first pet. We always had cats when I was growing up and when I moved out on my own, I had to continue keeping a cat. I can't imagine living somewhere there isn't a cat. Needs must have kitty snuggles and head bumps and tummy scritches; although, I wouldn't mind a marked decrease in the drooling biscuit-making.
