I'm at work before any of my coworkers. I'm in the office at work before any of my coworkers. How in heck did that happen?

Hubbyfink's home! paleobob and Stryk delivered him safely -- well, there was a little bit of jostling at the very end -- around midnight. Hubbyfink excitedly told me about the highlights of his trip as I drifted off.

The Sterling Spirit store is located in the old Circuit City space by Target and Total Wine. I think they opened on Sunday and not everything is on display. I did pick up a couple bags of rubber mice so I can finally make the Mouse Motel that's been featured in the Martha Stewart Halloween issue for the past couple of years.

I also took a look at Target's Halloween offerings and now I understand why this year's gravestones are priced so low: they're tiny! Bah. I did see a couple of pretty lanterns, but I'm already up to my ears in lanterns. I wasn't really tempted by anything.

You know...you have that lovely tree in your front yard...you could put the little LED tealights in your lantern collection and hang them in the tree for decoration on Halloween.

Oh, I have all sorts of plans... I need to sit still long enough to actually sketch out what all I want to do and what would look good together.

And I still want an undead Flamingo army.
