The only problem I have with
cmpriest's new book Boneshaker is that it's not the right story to read before bedtime. I find myself so engrossed in the tale that I am unable to put the book down at a reasonable hour to get a proper night's sleep. Ah well, we must suffer for our passions, no?

Another lovely that I picked up (and devoured in two days) is Gail Carriger's Soulless. It's *funny*. You gotta love any book that's part of the a series called the Parasol Protectorate.
