Geese

The geese and goslings were cruising up and down the pond this morning. I turned around to stare out the window for a bit around noon and they were gone. The only wildlife visible was a lone heron on the far bank. (Unfortunately, the zoom on my phone's camera wasn't good enough to capture him.) Now, at a quarter of 3pm, the grassy bank between the pond and the parkway is littered with geese of all sizes. Oh, and now they've begun their march down to the water. There's a small group running for the water's edge. Last one in is a rotten egg!

I'm wondering where they go from 11:30 to 2...
