Four eyes

I am coming to terms with my new reading glasses, especially since I no longer squint at the laptop screen when wearing them. Perhaps this means that Hubbyfink will stop thinking that I compute "angry". I've got them pushed fairly down on my nose in the stereotypical librarian position so that I can see farther away objects clearly.

I think I'll get a pair for the office.

Heh. We are opposites. I've been near-sighted since puberty. But after 40, I've been taking off my glasses when I sit at the computer because my glasses actually screw up my close vision. I've completely gone off contacts for the same reason. But when I get up to take the dogs out, I continue to wonder why it's always so foggy outside (I forget to put my glasses back on). LOL

Oh my. :)

I was having moments of what I feel wearing bifocals must be like. I'd get up to move to another room and get swimmy-headed if I forgot and looked down through the lenses. Oof.
