Hooray! Autumn is here!

Friday night: Margie & Basil got poked and prodded by the vet. They both look and act healthy. Vet will call me tomorrow with blood-work results. Margie might get a Bad Kitty! sticker on her records because she hissed and snapped at anyone who isn't me. So very unlike her. Total cost for yearly senior citizen checkups for two healthy cats = nearly $400. Thank heavens they aren't sick.
Saturday: Raced up to
danabren's place for BPAL, Sonic, and Halloween goodness. Saw
woodwindy. Purchased many discontinued limited edition perfumes and swapped bottles and imps with friends. Must update my BPAL spreadsheet and get to trading and selling some of my unloved imps and bottles. Apparently, I have some rare and highly-sought-after imps in my unloved pile. Who knew?
SOOOONIC. XL chili-cheese coney. Tots. Large cherry limeade. Large fried ice cream blast split three ways. My stomach hated me a few hours later, but I was very happy at the time.
Halloweenies! Visited the local Spirit Store where I procurred a blood-stained bag, blood-spattered machete, and derbys and top hats for future Victorian hat goodness. Visited the local Dollar Tree where I procurred a little sign stating "Blood donors needed. See the count." (It's hanging around my desk name tag now.) Halloween-themed ziplock baggies will make lunches more fun.
Drove home the scenic route via Gettysburg. Saw nothing of the supernatural ilk. Darn. Would have been more scenic had it not been pitch black outside.
Sunday: Cleaned out the kitchen and much of the dining room. My nutrisystem food no longer lives in a big cardboard box on the kitchen floor. Tempting junk food was either trashed (if opened or expired) or bagged up for a food pantry. Canned goods I shouldn't eat were also bagged up for the food pantry. Anybody local want pretty serving platters or tupperware stuff? The former nutrisystem box is now full of "free to good home" stuff.
Kit is definitely using the litterbox again. HOORAY!
Oh, and stairs are no longer problematic. In fact, I'm bounding up them with hardly any effort at all. Could be the weight loss, could be the elliptical. Either way I'm happy.
