WINTER STORM WARNING FOR...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TUESDAY
TO 7 PM EST WEDNESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN
EFFECT.

* PRECIPITATION TYPE...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...10 TO 20 INCHES.

* TIMING...MID-AFTERNOON TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

* TEMPERATURES...TEMPERATURES NEAR FREEZING AT THE ONSET TUESDAY
AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP INTO THE UPPER 20S TUESDAY
NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY.

* WINDS...LIGHT SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS TUESDAY BECOMING
NORTHWESTERLY 15 TO 25 MPH WEDNESDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

I'm so excited about this. I know everyone else really hates it but, so far, it looks like I won't have work all week! ...which gives me plenty of picture taking and sewing time.

I think it's pretty exciting, too. The 'fink is less than pleased, however, because snow days eat into vacation days. Thankfully, he has more practice than I with driving in snow and will swipe the Jeep while I telecommute from the comfort of the red sofa of AWESOMENESS. :)

Zoe's school's already canceled tomorrow, and I bet wednesday'll be called off too. I might not make it to work until thursday!

So, erm, I had a frozen dinner in my fridge at work. It's been there since last thursday (when I didn't eat it, planning on having it on friday. Oops!) I wonder how long frozen dinners last when they're merely refrigerated?

The Navigator works a block from the Capitol, and his boss has already arranged hotel rooms for the staff around the corner from the office. He's packing two days worth of clothes and taking them with him tomorrow, just in case he can't make it home Wednesday as well.
